Biography

ADETUTU AKINTOLA, is a diligent and result oriented legal Practitioner with post call-to-bar experience of almost three decades, spanning across the Private and Public sectors. She started her practice with a Private Law firm in Lagos and also had a brief stint in the Private Banking Unit of the defunct Skye Bank Plc (now Polaris Bank Plc.) She joined the Lagos State Government in November, 2006 as a State Counsel with the Ministry of Justice, where she worked dutifully and rose through the ranks to her current designation of Assistant Director. Tutu has a passion for Commercial Law Practice and has worked in the Directorates of Public Prosecution, Advisory Services and Commercial Law of the Ministry of Justice, before her deployment to the Office of Public Private Partnerships in May, 2018. Where she has been actively involved in the consummation of several ground breaking PPP transactions and Contract Awards. Tutu has excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills and has over the years displayed strong team building and decision-making abilities. She holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria (1993), a Barrister at Law (B.L.) from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos (1991) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B.) from the University of Jos, Nigeria (1990).
