Biography

Adeniji Risqat Abisola is an experienced Finance and Accounting Professional with over 20 years of practice in the field. She is currently an Assistant Director of Finance and Account, a position she has held since July 2021. She first joined the public service as an Accountant II in March 2000 and has since progressed through the ranks, holding various senior positions in different MDAs.   Abisola attended Akinbaiye Primary School, Isolo, Lagos. Federal Government Girls' College, Kazaure, Kano State (now Katsina State) and she holds a BSc degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos and is also a Professional Accountant, having obtained the Certified National Accountant (CNA) qualification and certificate from Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos in 2014. She also became a Certified member of Chartered Systems Accountant (USA) in 2016. Since her employment into the State Public Service, she has worked in various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the State Public Service including the Office of State Accountant-General (now State Treasury Office), Women Development Centre, Centre for Rural Development, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, School of Nursing, Igando (as the Pioneer Accountant), Office of Overseas Affairs and Investment, and Ministry of Transportation. She is currently the Director of Finance and Accounts Department at the Office of Public Private Partnerships   Adeniji Abisola has a wealth of experience in Financial Management, Accounting, Budgeting, and Internal Control, and has a track record of delivering results promptly in these areas. She is adept at Project Management, Visualization, and has strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. She is also an effective communicator and has experience in stakeholder management.   Adeniji Abisola was born on September 21, 1970 and loves cooking. She hails from Ibonwon in Epe Division of Lagos State, is married and blessed with wonderful children.
